Casa Disìu Portugal × Redlum Holding
Casa Disìu expands beyond Sicily, bringing its signature blend of heritage, design and short stay hospitality to Portugal. Backed by Redlum Holding, the new venture begins with a villa renovation, laying the foundation for a curated Portuguese portfolio that captures the country’s soul and lifestyle.
Bringing CaSa DISÌU to Portugal
our vision for this venture
Our Role
Redlum Holding is the strategic backbone behind Casa Disìu’s expansion into Portugal. The role goes beyond financing the venture: it includes shaping the brand’s geographic strategy, identifying high potential locations, and ensuring that the Portuguese chapter stays fully aligned with the design language and hospitality standards established in Sicily.
By combining Casa Disìu’s proven concept with Redlum’s hands on investment approach, the partnership turns a single villa project into the starting point of a structured, brand led portfolio. The goal is not to multiply properties quickly, but to build a Portuguese footprint that feels just as authentic and design driven as its Sicilian counterpart, anchored in long term thinking rather than short term opportunism.
Impact So Far
The Portuguese journey has officially begun with the renovation of a villa intended for short stay rental. As with every Casa Disìu project, the priority is to respect the property’s original character while elevating it through modern comfort, refined design and a guest experience that feels personal from arrival to departure.
In parallel, the team is developing a dedicated website for the Portuguese portfolio, a digital home that will showcase the upcoming projects, the brand vision for Portugal, and the experiences guests can expect. More projects in the pipeline will be announced as they progress.
The first villa already sets the tone: a renovation guided by craftsmanship, attention to detail and a deep respect for the location. It is the foundation on which the rest of the Portuguese portfolio will be built.
Future Direction
The long term ambition for Casa Disìu Portugal is to replicate, and further evolve, the success of the Sicilian model. Rather than a generic short stay rental brand, the Portuguese portfolio is designed as a carefully curated collection of properties, each chosen for its location, character and storytelling potential.
Upcoming steps include the launch of the dedicated Portuguese website, the announcement of additional renovation projects, and the gradual buildout of a recognisable Casa Disìu presence in Portugal’s most desirable destinations. The pace will be intentional: quality and brand consistency take priority over volume.
Looking further ahead, Casa Disìu Portugal could open the door to a similar investor programme as in Sicily, allowing international investors to own their own Casa Disìu property in Portugal, supported by local experts and a proven operating model. The same hospitality standards, the same design DNA, applied to a different Mediterranean culture.
With Redlum’s long term involvement, the Portuguese venture is set up not as an experiment, but as the second pillar of a growing international hospitality brand, one that turns heritage properties into meaningful guest experiences and sound investments.
The Portuguese chapter starts with a single villa, currently under renovation and designed for short stay rental. Every choice respects the property’s character while bringing it up to the comfort and design standards Casa Disìu is known for.
A new dedicated website is in the making, built to showcase the Portuguese portfolio as it grows. Soon, guests and investors will be able to discover Casa Disìu Portugal in its full identity: projects, properties and the vision behind them.

Sicily proved the model. Portugal is the next chapter. With Redlum Holding’s strategic backing and Casa Disìu’s design led approach, the goal is to build a Portuguese portfolio that feels just as authentic, intentional and rooted in place.
